Work.

Every framework begins somewhere. Before F0RTUN8, there were projects that taught me how to build brands, earn trust, create communities, and think beyond campaigns. Those experiences continue to shape every engagement today.

ARCHIVE BEGINS

Not every lesson comes from a boardroom.

Some come from late nights in the garage.

Some from international collaborations.

Some from building communities before

social media defined the rules.

Legacy Work is a curated archive of defining projects that shaped the philosophy behind F0RTUN8. Each one represents a milestone in strategic thinking, creativity, collaboration, and long-term relationship building.

This is not a portfolio. It is a record of earned experience — the kind that cannot be manufactured, borrowed, or accelerated. Every project here taught something that a boardroom could not.

WORK Wheels Japan

Building a lifestyle brand beyond wheels.

WORK Wheels is one of Japan’s most revered aftermarket wheel brands. The collaboration went far beyond distribution — it was a creative partnership that involved brand positioning, community cultivation, apparel design, and event strategy across Tokyo Auto Salon and Osaka Auto Messe. The goal was to translate a precision engineering brand into a lifestyle movement that resonated with a global audience.

Tanoshi Creative Lifestyle

Creating a movement through automotive culture.

Tanoshi began as a brand identity exercise and grew into a creative movement. Rooted in the Japanese word for enjoyment and fun, the brand captured the spirit of the emerging lifestyle automotive scene — where cars, culture, apparel, and community converged. Magazine features, lookbooks, collaborative events, and an apparel line built around authenticity rather than advertising.

SEMA 2013

Engineering attention before social media.

SEMA Las Vegas is the largest specialty automotive trade show in the world. In 2013, securing a sponsored vehicle, coordinating a Rocket Bunny collaboration, activating partnerships with Konig Wheels and Falken Tire, and presenting on the show floor required the same strategic thinking as any major brand campaign — audience, story, partnership, execution. Every element had to communicate a coherent creative vision under intense competitive scrutiny.

Japanese Publications

When creativity crossed borders.

Being featured in Japanese automotive media was not a marketing strategy — it was a consequence of doing work that met a standard. Japan’s automotive publications are among the most discerning in the world. Editorial spreads, photography direction, and brand collaborations published across multiple titles represented international recognition that could not be bought, only earned through genuine craft and cultural respect.

WHAT THESE PROJECTS TAUGHT ME

I

I

Community Over Audience

An audience is a number. A community is a relationship. Every project that succeeded long-term was built around shared purpose — not advertising reach. People didn’t follow the brand. They belonged to something the brand represented. That difference in orientation changed everything about how I approach strategy.

Communities are earned. They are never bought.

II

II

Relationships Over Transactions

The strongest partnerships across all of these projects were built slowly. A handshake in Tokyo led to a collaboration three years later. A shared booth led to a decade-long relationship. The brands that lasted were the ones that treated every interaction as the beginning of something, not the end. That instinct is at the core of F0RTUN8’s engagement model.

Trust is the only thing that survives a difficult market.

III

III

Craft Over Hype

Attention fades. Craft remains. The projects that continue to be referenced — years later, by people who weren’t in the room — are the ones where the work itself was the story. Not the press release. Not the launch event. The quality of the thinking, the care in the execution, the honesty in the presentation. That is what endures.

Make something worth finding.

IV

IV

Long-Term Thinking

Every worthwhile outcome across this archive was the result of compounding effort over time. The magazine features came from years of work before the feature. The partnerships came from relationships built long before there was anything to partner on. The instinct to think in years rather than quarters is not a virtue — it is a strategic advantage that most competitors simply cannot sustain.

Everything worthwhile compounds over time.

It’s about understanding what shaped the way you think.
